An Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) is usually the final step of the ecology assessment process. This will be completed once we know the full ecological impact of a project and will be informed by the Preliminary Ecological Appraisal and any Phase 2 surveys completed.
Torc Ecology undertakes Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) for a range of developments from small simple projects such as house extensions and land/building change of use, to large complex sites with multiple ecological issues such as wind farms, road schemes and housing developments.
EcIA reports often form the basis for Ecological Chapters as part of Environmental Statements for developments where a more formal impact assessment is required i.e. Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
